Enhancing Inclusivity & Usability: A Modern Redesign

The Asian American Center at Fuller Theological Seminary was in need of a website redesign to modernize its online presence, make it more inclusive, and improve ease of navigation. I was tasked with transforming their outdated website into a vibrant, user-friendly platform that better served their diverse community.

Enhancing Inclusivity & Usability: A Modern Redesign

Dynamic Team Solutions wanted a website refresh with a clean and modern look that highlights the wide variety of services and support they offer their clients.

Website Re-Design

I began with thorough research and discovery. I conducted several meetings with the center’s stakeholders, including faculty and community members, to understand their needs and goals. This process involved gathering insights into what was working, what wasn’t, and what they envisioned for the new website. Additionally, I analyzed the websites of similar organizations to identify best practices and areas for improvement.

I created initial concepts and wireframes, which we discussed to ensure we were on the same page. The main goal was to create a website that effectively showcased their services, highlighting their expertise in HR consulting, mediation, and leadership development.

Once the wireframes were approved, I moved on to creating high-fidelity prototypes. Using Figma, I developed detailed prototypes that showcased the design elements, including color schemes, typography, and imagery. The prototypes were designed to reflect the inclusivity and vibrancy of the Asian American Center, incorporating diverse cultural elements and modern design principles.

The inclusive design elements were particularly well-received, reflecting the diverse community the Asian American Center serves.

Redesigning the website for the Asian American Center at Fuller Theological Seminary was a rewarding project that showcased the power of thoughtful, user-centered design. By combining modern design principles with a focus on inclusivity and usability, we were able to create a website that not only met but exceeded the goals of the project. This case study exemplifies my commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences through innovative design and meticulous attention to detail.
